Skyview Aerial Photo Newsletter V. 1, September 22, 2005– addressing the latest news from our company. Greetings! 2005 thus far has been an exciting year for us at Skyview. We would like to extend many thanks to all of our customers for giving us the opportunity to perform this engaging and challenging work. We hope to continue providing our best quality aerial photography to further contribute to our mutual success. In this edition, we cover new equipment, personnel changes, and updated pricing. As many of you know, we now operate two fully equipped aircraft with Leica RC-30 aerial camera systems and airborne GPS capability (using a Trimble 5700 GPS receiver for projects requiring high-accuracy photo center identification). We can now tackle large-scale projects without overextending our resources. With that, we have had a recent reorganization of sorts. Sad to report that as of mid-August, Will Duel, our principle photographer for nearly ten years has left the Skyview Family and the State of California for that matter to move out to Wyoming . His skill and wit were greatly appreciated around these parts and we wish him all the best on his new adventure. Feel free to request his contact information if you'd like to send him a personal farewell. At this time, we are pleased to announce the addition of Steve Wilson to our staff. Steve's past experience includes the preparation of photographic artwork for musicians. He happens to be a saxophone player in a band, as well… another Will-like character in the making? He has taken on the position of photo lab technician to fill the shoes of Nick Harvey, our photo lab technician for the past eight years and now our new lead aerial photographer. Both Nick and Steve are creative, methodical, and professional and, not surprisingly, each has progressed quickly to learn new tasks and overcome new challenges. And for the inevitable… it has been two years since our last price increase and we must address the increasing costs of operation by establishing new pricing as shown in the attached document. These prices will be effective October 1, 2005. Any price quotation given prior to this date will be honored until January 1, 2006. If you have any questions about the new pricing, feel free to give us a call. This information is also available on-line at: http://www.skyairphoto.com/pricing Sincerely, Nick Arentz |
